Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need travel vaccinations for Thailand? ▾
For Thailand, we typically recommend Hepatitis A and Typhoid as a minimum. Depending on your itinerary, you may also need Rabies or Japanese Encephalitis. Our pharmacist will advise based on where you are going and what you will be doing.
How far in advance should I get travel jabs? ▾
Ideally 6–8 weeks before travel, as some vaccines need to be ordered in and some are given as a course — for example Rabies and Hepatitis B. Online booking opens 2 days ahead; if you are leaving sooner, call us and we will do our best to help.
How much do travel vaccinations cost? ▾
Prices vary by vaccine. At Chiswick Travel Clinic our vaccines start from £40 per dose, and every price is published on our vaccine prices page.
Can I get travel vaccinations on the NHS? ▾
The NHS only funds a limited number of travel vaccines, and most must be obtained privately. We publish clear private prices for every vaccine we offer.
Is Chiswick Travel Clinic near Acton? ▾
Yes. We are at 257 Acton Lane, Chiswick, London W4 5DG, inside Alisha Pharmacy. Acton Lane links Chiswick with Acton, so we are a convenient travel clinic for Acton patients as well as travellers from Ealing, Hammersmith, Brentford, Richmond, Shepherd's Bush and Gunnersbury.
